(QMI Agency)- Police are wondering how a seven-year old Detroit boy managed to drive his stepfather's car about 32 km, reaching speeds of 80 km/h as cops followed him. The boy, barefoot and clad in pajamas, apparently stood on the floorboard with one foot on the gas of the stolen Pontiac Sunfire, police told the Detroit Free Press. Remarkably, no one was injured.Police managed to get the boy to stop the vehicle on a Sheridan Township road, and they found the boy in the driver's seat, crying. He told officers he wanted to go to his dad's house. The boy's mother, a shift worker, was sleeping when the vehicle was taken.
