(Stephanie Ip, 24 hours)- A new video has surfaced on YouTube showing the now famous riot lovebirds being knocked over by police.
Australian comedian Scott Jones and Canadian student Alexandra Thomas shot to international attention after Getty photographer Richard Lam snapped a photo of the pair apparently kissing on the ground between two lines of riot police during last week's riot in downtown Vancouver.
The video, which clarifies what happened before the photo was shot, shows riot police clearing a crowd southbound on Seymour Street into the Robson Street intersection.
After being knocked over by riot shields, Jones is seen with his hand up, shielding Thomas before the officers move down the street.
The pair have since hired Australian agent Max Markson to coordinate interviews and endorsements.
Jones and Thomas will reportedly have lunch with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in Melbourne at the end of July.
